I'm going home

Time so very rarely stands still and change is absolutely inevitable yet if you are aware of it, but do not try to understand it or control it, it becomes extremely graceful. It's most fun when you take up the challenge and accept time's offer of the most intense dance you will ever experience.

After over 3 years out of Zimbabwe I'm taking a trip back in a few months for my dose of Africa. Wooohoooo!

It looks an amazing place - some lovely images in the clip, Shirlz. I'm really envious, especially after a day in London with trees blowing over, all the trains cancelled and the roofs blowing off our offices in Manchester; it must be great to look forward to despite the politics. When are you going and what is that animal that looks like an overgrown guinea pig?

David, the weather has been mad lately - hope you weren't in the Manchester offices at the time!
We've been lucky enough to have snow in Edinburgh today.

When I go to Zimbabwe depends on my UK visa application but hopefully it will be by April as I'm going to a friend's wedding in Botswana in early May.

The guinea pig lookalike is a rock-rabbit or more commonly known as a dussie (its Afrikaans name). If you ever visit Cape Town you'll be sure to see them, everywhere!
