Ambition

Where does it start and end, if you have too much does it mean you will be successful or never happy? When you have reached your personal goal are you able to settle once you're there? What about if you don't have a finishing line ... but know you are on the right route, are you still ambitious or just labelled a 'dreamer' ??

I don't have much of an idea of where I'm going but I certainly follow my intuition. I know where I've come from and will never forget that. Tonight I listened to Queen of Hollywood sung the by Corrs, it was one of my favourite tunes when I was 19 years old and managing in a guesthouse in Bulawayo. On the quiet nights when no-one was staying I would have 7 hectares of property to myself, an empty bar to sit behind and much to think about. I sang and danced along to this tune and believed it was about me. Tonight, whilst singing along remembering it word for word, I caught a glimpse of just how far I've come and changed along the way. But yet I'm still that very girl with (some new) dreams, they are still massive.



Everyone has such different aims in life, I look at my friends and most are scattered across the continents chasing rainbows of many varieties! I hope they all reach their potential!
